Well i wanted some DR`s and i new that there wasn`t a 19inch DR yet so i went with aftermarket 18/9.5`s rims with a 65 offset that was recomend by Dennis with the BFG`s 295/35/18`s. I also had them painted comp grey to keep that stock look. Had them painted at the local collision shop and they came out SWEET:D They are just painted with clear coat...not powder coated. So i thought i would share some pic`s with you guys:thumbsup:

And this pic was taking at the track were i was breaking them in:D

How much did your 60fts improve and did you get the scan tool for the TPS in the tires or find someway to defeat the TPS system?

I only ran the car 3 times and 60ft`s were... in order 2.06/2.05/2.01:thumbsup: I was just breaking them in on the 1/8 track for the 1/4 track, and i was learning how to launch with the new sticky tires/burnouts. I already got past my stock tires time and now have to shoot for 1.8`s/1.9`s,i am still in the learning process on launching:D I know guys are getting 1.9`s with there base tires, but i couldn`t get lower than a 2.03 on the base after three runs. Now with the new DR`s, i already got a 2.01 after 3 runs. See i don`t want to beat the car, so everytime i go to any track i only run 3 times.
As far as the tps, i didn`t install them, and the way i get around that is by having the base tires in the garage were i park the Vette, so everytime i start the car the computer picks up the tires in the garage, because they are close to the car. Joe told me about this and it works like a charm and you can drive for 50 miles without the light going off. And if the light goes, all you have to do is shut down everything(TC/AH)

IMO unless you have a tuner that has the latest HP beta software available and knows how to adjust and delete all the TM tables for the engine and transmission areas drag radials are not needed. With all the power i am making running 11.80's with TM in place i could stand on my car off the line and the car would barely spin my stock tires and never on the 1-2 shift but know with my new tune and TM totally removed on my car it is completely insane with the same BFG drag radials you have that i have now i can spin them at any kick down under 30 and the tires will just spin like crazy and keep spinning right through the 1-2 shift and keep spinning forever until i let off the gas no matter what type of pavement i am on its absolutely crazy!

High Roller,

If you don`t want TM to come into play and you want a better 60ft you have to half throttle one car out and then roll it to the floor to avoid TM:thumbsup: How do you think Dennisnj50 has the fastest bolt on car and a 60ft less than a 1.6, he gets around TM. High Roller,

Dennis runs 11.60's because he has a nice stall converter which is good for at least 5 tenths on a auto car along with drag radials and he knows how to drive his car very well. You can eliminate TM if you have the most current HP beta software which most tuners do not have they have the earlier version that does relax it but the newest software allows more to be done for the transmission part of it. The difference is so night and day it is amazing! I would bet that if 10 auto guys had there TM removed like mine that at least 8 of them would return it back to stock TM because it would be way to much for them on the street even bone stock c6's its that drastic. Go to HP's website there was 1 guy that downloaded the newset version with TM removed and it litterally scared the hell out of him on a basically stock car and put the TM back in for safety reasons for the 1-2 shift. As for the BFG drag radials on my car they would dead hook most of the time before my tune and now with TM removed on the street they are like driving on ice anything under 30mph and never quits spinning until i get off the gas way after the 1-2 shift and this is with 26#'s in the rear. I am fairly confident that when i go back to the track and lower them to 16#'s and heat them up they should hook real nice for me.

Yes, Dennis does drive well, even with the effects of TM. As far as the TM and hp tuners and the new release...whats the point on having TM removed if you can`t find a happy medium? I guess they still haven`t cracked the code?
But this is the reason i purchased DR`s so i would be able to nail low 12`s with simple bolt on`s and a great tune:thumbsup: I just have to beat the computer(TM):D
