Hi guys,

Getting just one fault code - DDM B2262.

I notice my driver door mirror doesnt recall the memory position, and is slow to respond when attempting to adjust it.

What is the best course of action to rectify this? Thanks.

Actually, you are on the money with what the problem is. The electronic on this car suffer from cold solder joints. That is the issue in this situation.

OP, with as many issues as you have with your car, you should seriously consider getting the service manual. All the information to resolve this issue is in there. The following 4 documents contain the info you need to solve your issue.

While we are on the topic of DIY repairs -

Is there a decent scanner that I would benefit from? I'm trying to do all my car work myself (I enjoy learning as a hobby, although I know a c5 may not have been the best car to learn on).

For diagnosis purposes, I've been considering a tech2 scanner such as this:http://www.aliexpress.com/item/DHL-free-for-GM-TECH2-diagnostic-tool-for-GM-OPEL-SAAB-ISUZU-SUZUKI-HOLDEN-for/2046126563.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.113.E59Ew1&aff_platform=promotion&sk=AqrBIUF6I:&cpt=1468793763051&af=3282075&cn=002&cv=12612519&dp=iqr5vqon6n000b3w008sc&PID=3282075&aff_trace_key=06d0254f7c16407ebc63e315a8df49cb-1468793763051-01685-AqrBIUF6I

Alternatively, some kind of PC software such as Tuner Pro with some kind of interface cable?

I know I could get a cheap bluetooth obd2 reader, but are they really any good?

You need a Tech II scanner but NOT that China made and sold crap. You need to check out the small print on what and who you are buying from before you get taken.

Nope. I would start looking on eBay and Amazon where they CLEARLY mark where the item is being sold and check with that individual.
