Last night i went up to see Howard at Redline Motorsports in Albany, NY and had my car tuned. My first run on the Dyno with Vortex intake and Borla straight pipes put down 344HP/338TQ. He called my car a freak. He usually sees 315 to 320 on "stock" C5's. After some tweaking and fuel changes, I finally ended up with 357HP/365TQ. I was very pleased with these numbers. It was about 87 degrees in the shop and pretty humid out. I could not get a pull with the spray because I am currently empty. I will be going back in the next couple weeks to do a pull with spray.

What kind of gain did you see from the actual tuning?
Looks like 13hp. 344 baseline and 357 after.

Hey Vettekid I was with Sherrifd2 adn Hooper when they did his Z and Hoopers vert. THe 01 vert put down 322 before tune. The car had an intake leak so no tune was done that day because of it. It had CAI and a catback.
Dave's Z with the same CAI and catback put down 373 after a tune.

Nice numbers.

Thanks guys. It feels like a whole new car now. It seems to pull harder through the gears than it did before. I dont think I could have spent 400 bucks on anything else and wound up this pleased with the power gain.

That's pretty sick dude. My Z with only Halltech stinger put down 360 after tune. You have a pretty stout C5. I dynoed with 72(?) degree weather too.

My numbers with cam are still like 20-30 lower than they should be, something might be a miss in my tuning.

Yeah that does seem a bit low considering you have the long tubes and cam. they seem to work really well together. Sweet numbers though. I was considering doing the cam this year but after speaking with the tuner he told me to wait till i get the headers first. I will be doing the headers next year then see what kind of numbers i put down. I would love to get around 400 to the wheels without breaking into the motor and spraying.
