I need the area from the ac vent by the light switch to the vents in the middle (the gauge area) measured height and width. I'm not with my car right now but I basically need the area in red below measured. Thanks.

Sure I'll go measure the area in red for you... but I don't know why you need the area of the steering wheel emblem.

Now these are 1985 dimensions and you know all the crazy stuff they tried with the metric system back then... so don't shoot the measurer.
