My car is a mixture of 85 and 96 parts, I need to buy the weather seals and Im not sure what I should get. The body of the car is an 85 so the windshield and back window will be the 85 seals. But the doors and targa are 96 model parts, so should I get the 96 seals or will all these parts not match up to the 85 parts?

In the same boat with my car. Just use the seals matching your door panel year. My car is all original 86 bodied with complete 96 interior using the 96 seal kit no problems.

So have done this already? I want to order my seals and need to know for sure what works. I tried calling a reputable company but the customer service guy had very little knowledge about it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Yep had it this way and driving over two years now. It's an easy part swap since all the seal holes are in the same place. Using the 96 seal because I have a 96 interior swap. So if you still have 85 door panels use the 85 door seal.
