I'm trying to track down this noise that occurs when my 07 C6 is both started and on accessory mode. It's pretty much a high frequency electrical noise that gets amplified in the cabin.

I went underneath the car and it's louder up by the fuel tank. Could this be a fuse issue? Once I turn the accessory mode off, it lingers for about 5 seconds then goes away. You can hear it from outside of the car, it's that obnoxious.

Any ideas? Bad ground? Bad fuse? I'm getting so irritated by this noise. I have a stereo system and this noise gets louder once the stereo is on. I disconnected the stereo harness all together and it's still there.

I'd guess fuel pump, but that shouldn't get primed on accessory mode, right? Any help would be appreciated!
