Ever Heard of Melrose Headers?

Found and ad in Corvette Magazine. They make headers for C5's and are in Cortland, IL.

Doesn't loook like a bad package. Anyone know anything about these guys?

I met them at Bloomington Gold last year. We were looking to sell their headers at the shop, but decided against it because they would only sell them without the flanges installed/welded. The big problem was the flanges would be welded on after they were coated and it was a waste of money.

I'm hoping they addressed that issue, otherwise their headers were beautiful.

yeah, I bought a complete D44 from them and a clutch assembly for my conversion when I did it.

I was at their shop once and the owners home garage (with 2 full out C4 race cars) this was PRE-C5 but they seemed to be very good
I've heard of Melrose Peppers...never Melrose Headers or Hearders either!

I used to date a header before I met my wife....:D
Thanks for catching the typo and the bio.

I talked to the folks @ Melrose and they do not or no longer weld on the flange. The system is connected with stainless steel clamps like those used on diesel trucks. They claim no leaks.

What shop are you associated with??
