I like the sound of GLH and Borla from this site (both are kinda pricy). http://www.thx2.net/exhaust.htm
Not sure how much of a sound difference it would be between a LS6 and a LS1 though.
I think Flowmaster sounds pretty good (what I have on my car, not a vette or even a v8 :( ) and not as expensive as the GHL and Borla

I just put the B&B Bullets on about 2 weeks ago, and they are AWESOME! Nice sound, something different from the Stingers (which are also really cool).

Stingers

New member here! I have the stingers, i absolutelty love them. Sound just right with the roof panel off. Very little resonance on the inside and sounds like a real monster when you get on it. My buddy has the corsa indy's and he wishes he went with the stingers:thumbsup:

I have Flowmasters (model 50) on a previously owned Vette. They were too loud for me -could not hear the radio or carry on a conversation. I love the sound of the stock mufflers on my current Z06.

I have BB Tri Flow, Rte 66 (not PRT's). I bought then for my 98 based on looks. If I had it to do again, I'd seriously look at Stingers.
As to help you to decide, see if there are any other Vette owners in the area and see if you can get a listen in and out of their cars. If not try a finding a local "Corvette" specialist shop...maybe they have a few cars around or for sale with different systems. Lastly, you may be able to find a decent set used, look around.

i have the corsa tourings. if you're looking for something as quiet as stock during cruise, these are the way to go. they're very tame, but sound awesome when you punch it. also, keep in mind, that if you're planning on doing other mods such as headers and cats, the exhaust is only going to get louder...that's part of the reason i went with tourings...hoping to do headers next year.

good luck in what ever you decide. exhaust is a really fun mod.

I am not running any mufflers right now and it is AWESOME, sounds like a nascar. thinking about gettting staight pipes from the cats back made, so i can just unbolt them and throw the mufflers on for smog purposes.

Back on Topic: I have the Flowmasters and they are quiet when cruising, and when you get on it they are loud. but i am not a fan of there tips.
