Festival Corvette Price?!?

I have an opportunity to purchase a C6 Festival Pace Car. Don't ask, simply in the right place at the right time. Only 75 produced! Purchasing at sticker is improbable, so what is a fair amount over sticker? I've seen Ron Fellows Editions going for nearly $20K over sticker:surprised and that was a run of 300. What value does 1 of 75 hold:huh: Appreciate any professional opinons.

I've never heard of a "Festival" Pace car. Sure it's not one of the Indy Pace cars? One of the atomic orange verts?
The right price is sticker or less. Otherwise, just wait for a year or two after someone has taken the depreciation beating.

No need to throw your money away.

I wouldn't consider being bent over being in the right place at the right time.:rolling:

I agree. And I too am assuming it's one of the orange Indy Pace Cars.

There were "festival cars" in 1990. But in this case I am sure he is referring to a pace car used at the actual race.

I could be WAY wrong...but I believe the Festival cars are Indy Pace Car replicas, used during the race day ceremonies at the track, but not the one that paces the race.

I believe every Indy 500 has festival cars....not 100% sure though.

nice that , that car was a part of the race, but the festival cars are NOT pace cars. They were used by a number of people during the event and introd drivers....it's a 2007 Convertible and buying it UNDER STICKER should be the norm....

Good luck

Unless you're into that kinda stuff.
I just sold my Pace Car (Festival car). in April. 1993 Camaro Z28. The Festival car is used at and around the track the week prior to the Indy 500 race. At some point driven on the track.
I held my car for 13 years and only put on 700 miles hoping it would appreciate. Not so. I would not recommend buying one unless you're going to dirve it and enjoy it. Not a good investment. Buy it at a used car price, no more. Just my 2 cents. :D
