Sounds like possible contamination from moisture. I would recommend flushing this out and replacing immediately. I know the old saying that water and oil do not mix, but I have seen ATF look like you described after cooling water contaminated ATF on a torque converter dynamometer where I previously worked. B&M trick shift is blue, and hurst ATF is purple. Lucas makes an additive for auto. trans. that is supposed to help seal up leaks but I don't know what color it is.
Yellow??? I can't even figure out how any of the above mentioned fluids could turn yellow. It would be very interesting to find out what it's filled with.
That 'vette at the top of your screen is YELLOW. I suspect what you're calling "yellow" is just well worn fluid that's half-way to brown. Get rid of the stuff, several times, 'cause a drain and refill doesn't get rid of all the bad stuff the first time.
