When are people going to figure out that Fox is not a news station?
Neither is John Stewart or SNL. It depends on the segments you watch. There is news and there is opinion. Just like EVERY OTHER NETWORK.

Which is better, slant your station and make it clear you lean one way politically as FOX does or slant your station and pretend to be unbiased as all of the others do?

Fox reported it as true. That's the fail.

Now, had they said at the end of the segment that hat was satire, THAT would have been one of the best segments in all of cable news history.

They reported an ONION story! The readers ****ed up, not Fox. This is hillarious.

"Fox Nation readers confuse Onion article with real news."

It is The Raw Story and yourself that is trying to make more of it than there really is.

The problem with both sides of the political spectrum... is that -they are full non intellectuals. That is to say... they are incapable of deeper thought based upon what they are reading and prefer to scan an article for their opinion based upon the articles source... and their advertised political leaning. Sometimes... these non intellectuals, simply read the tittle and go forth to spread the misinformation.

Take this story, for instance. It was not reported on Fox News -as some would have you believe. It was reported on Fox Nation. Fox Nation is an online arm of the Fox Network... -not to be confused with Fox News Online. Fox Nation is like any other online information outlet. It contains some news, It contains some opinion, it contains the funny picture of the day... and it contains satire. Much to the chagrins of these "non intellectuals" -the article did reference "the Onion" at the bottom of the article. This was noted within the unintellectual article, lambasting the non intellects for un-intellectually -commenting on satire they did not have a full grasp of... due to their non intellect.

No surprise - you don't know what you're talking about.

If you go to YOUR source, you'll see that they have a link to the cached Google image of the Fox Nation page ...

http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...obama-sends-nation-rambling-75000-word-e-mail

and a casual investigation (ie, clicking on the link), will reveal that the Fox Nation headline clearly reads:

"The ONION: Frustrated Obama Sends Nation 75,000 Word Email"

You willing to admit that you screwed this up, and that Fox actually DID report it as satire?

I know that you'll try to divert by talking about comments made by viewers - but you can't supply any evidence that Fox presented satire as truth, can you?

Man, you make it so easy for me! :rolling:
