A Neighbor of mine had jus bought a 1982 Vette about 2 months ago he pulled it in the driveway came back out and it would not start.. It has the Crossfire original engine... Im not too familiar with that setup.. The engine turns but wont fire... Any suggestions on what it might be??
I suggested two things either a electrical of fuel told him to pull a plug and see if he gets any spark that woud eliminate the Electrical right? or a module has gone bad?

Any Suggestions would help..

Thanks

Daniel

There is an electric fuel pump relay that could go bad. One way to know if you are getting fuel is to open the hood and take off the air cleaner assembly. When you first turn on the key, the injectors fire to prime the intake. If you don't see or hear the injectors fire, then there is no fuel pressure or a problem with the electrical side of the fuel system. It could be a blown fuse, a broken wire, a bad ground, or a bad relay.
