Trying to dial in the front hub rotors. All new bearings, seals, and rotors. I put a dial gauge on the rotor and I am getting about .025 runout. I moved the rotor over one lug at a time and it didn't correct it. I tried the other rotor that I bought and it seems to be the same so I believe that it is probably the hub. The other hub liteblue isn't ready yet because I ruined the seal so I have to pick up another one before trying the other side. I have two other hubs that I could restore and install new bearings. Should I go that route or try to shim what I have?

You might just have a burr, did you file or grind the areas around the rivet holes? Make sure the surfaces are flat. Check the runout in the hub flange, if that is bad you can machine it in a lathe if that is an option for you. If the hub is good then the rotors are the problem. 025" is a lot, if you had 010 or under you can shim them typically
