So, I was driving my '07 'vette and my car beeped at me and said I had low fuel. I could swear that I had plenty of gas, so I filled her up with some premium love. After starting her up, I still got the zero gas and the service fuel system flashed on the DIC. Anybody had this problem? Looks like she's going into the shop tomorrow :(

Earlier years have reported similar problems, and now fixed through software upgrade. You should check with your dealer.

Fuel pump between tanks

There are two tanks, left and right. The system pumps from one to the other to equalize between the two. When a sensor goes bad in either tank or debris corrupts the pump from one side to the other, the DIC stores a code which lights the light. Flushing the tanks usually takes care of it, easier said than done. After flushing use your scan tool to check for code , if not current erase the stored code. If you're still under warranty, it's probably covered if this happens early.
Good luck,
Ringding
