I'm about to start my first high-perf engine upgrade in my 1975 350 Corvette. I'm looking to end up somewhere in the 'mid street' range when I'm finished. But my question is:

I recently a good deal from a friend on a set of GM aluminum Bow Tie heads casting #14011049 w/ 55cc chambers, 180cc intake runner, and 1.60/2.02 valves. There is also a GM Victor Junior intake and a Holley 4150 HP carb included. I've had a little trouble finding some good information on the heads online, and was curious if they were worth having. I'd like some good info on they're appilication, if anyone out there has ever worked with them, and if the entire aforementioned set is used, what is a good cam selection...?

If those are the newer heads they won't work because of the reverse water flow. I think the cam must also be swapped because of the intake.exhaust pattern change.
