So much for more recalls from GM being just a possibility. The American automaker has announced four more recalls that affects 428,211 vehicles in the U.S.

The first recall almost comes as no surprise considering the recent stop-sale order on the Chevrolet Cruze. A total of 29,019 Chevrolet Cruze sedans from the 2013-2014 model year are being recalled to replace the driver’s side air bag inflator. An additional 4,066 units are affected in Canada according to GM. The American automaker is aware of one injury related to the airbag issue.

The next recall affects 392,459 full-size pickup trucks and SUVs in the U.S. and 53,607 in Canada. An additional 20,874 units are affected in other markets worldwide and include the 2014-2015 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban and the 2015 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL. According to the American automaker, the affected vehicles have a transfer case that may electronically switch to neutral without input from the driver. As a result, the vehicle could roll away if the parking brake is not set or no power will go to the wheels if the vehicle is in motion. No crashes or injuries related to this issue have been reported.

Affected 4,794 2013-2014 model year Chevrolet Caprice police cars and 2014 Chevrolet SS sport sedans in the U.S., GM will inspect and replace the windshield wiper module assembly due to the motor gear teeth becoming stripped. GM is not aware of any injuries or crashes related to this issue.

Dealers will replace the two rear shock absorbers in 1,939 Corvettes from the 2014 model year in the U.S. with the FE1 or FE3 suspension in order to repair a possibly insufficient weld in the rear shocks. In addition, 33 vehicles in Canada are affected along with 82 others that were exported. No injuries or crashes related to the issue have been reported.
