Are you looking for one made specifically for Corvette? The C6 was the only corvette that came with the option of the nav system. If yours doesn't have it, I'd say just buy any system and use it.

Welcome to DC. We don't have a lot of members from Croatia, but you're welcome here!

Well.....if your car has the Nav System, you should have gotten a Nav disc with your car - I'd say the dealer screwed up if they didn't give it to you. Can you get ahold of them in Austria and ask them to send you the disc?

I have the Nav system, and the DVD disc I have only has the U.S. and Canada in the database. You need a disc that has the European database on it.

I called the phone number listed on the gmnavdisc.com site and they told me they only handled the discs for the U.S. and Canada, and that's why the site doesn't recognize your VIN.

So....I'd say that you need to contact the dealer and get them to send the disc to you, because it is supposed to come with the car.

Good luck,

Bob

RE: GMNAVDISC and V.I.N.'s

Waynder, I just bought a 15 month old 06' Z51 with NAVIGATION. I went online with the GMNAVDISK site this P.M. to give them my new owner update information. I typed the V.I.N. into the box provided, using the window sticker (that was on the car when it was sold new) that was laying in front of me on my computer desk. This I did several times; receiving a message each time that the V.I.N. was not a good one. I am in California, and the vehicle was 1st sold new in California. It doesn't appear that the problem you were having was just isolated to locations outside of the USA.

Call Gm Navdisk

You can call GM Navdisk to order your disks. I have a navigation unit in my car that came from a salvaged 2008 vette. I got the invalid Vin message as well for my 07 (as it did not have Nav originally from the factory). When you call them, just tell them that you have an OEM nav unit and you need to order a set of the disks. This work's for the USA disks, and if they don't handle the disks for Europe, I'd be very surprised as this is their primary purpose in life for GM.
