Pulled my tranny tonight, my push type HOWE 82876 TOB is leaking, looks like the O-ring is rolling instead of sliding thus causing leak

Start to finish 2.5 hours to jack up the car and pull the tranny.

Any tips or tricks you want to share for removal? I'm going to put a new trans in mine. It appear pretty straight forward and I've already done the rear end so I'm familiar with the C-beam but I'd like to hear and tricks you used.

I have a system basically,
1. take the distributor cap off
2. take the front y-pipe off
3. take the rear y-pipe off
4. put a bottle jack under the oil pan
5. put a tranny jack under the tranny
6. loosen the C-beam bolts and remove bolts
7. slide the c-beam forward then under the e-brake line and out the back
8. Loosen Drive shaft joint bolts at rear
8. disconnect all tranny connections
9. remove tranny bolts and slide tranny out
10. remove bell housing bolts

That's about it. :smack

Anything needed for the rear end when you remove the C-beam?

Nope, it hangs there, supported by the upper bushings and the rear mono-spring.

I put it all back together last Friday, then put the upgraded window regulator in on Saturday,,, new door speaks and C5 brake upgrade this weekend if I get my Honey-Dos done!

You going to Effingham for Funfest?
