Got some work done on the vette

I swapped the door sills out with those from a 95, but I modded them to fit my speakers. much better then what I had before, it looks cleaner.

I also replaced the broken Hood hinge that I wanted to replace last year but never got to. Once I put the vette back on my kwik lift I will fix the one muffler (twisted) and after Bloomington I will fix the Heater/Defroster valve. I also need to charge the A/C..

Sorry no pictures I also replaced the exhaust on my GTP, that took most of the afternoon

It has been on the road, but I figured since it was raining i could do a couple maintenance things on it..

The Exhaust fix will be swapping a clamp to get it to look good for Bloomington.

As for the A/C that will be easy, but I can stull drive it
ac

I have a heater ac issue with my 89 vert, the dealer took 800 bucks and fixed nothing, I get luke warm air and no AC/ cool air is that the same as your issue. If so where is the ac valve. it will be easier to fix with the motor out and into the machine shop.
What part of your hinge was broken. I just put my new hood on my car and it was a PITA to get on but really easy to adjust. I just have to get the drivers headlight to move over some so it won't hit the hood.

My A/C problem is that the Valve/Solenoid that controls flow out of the Defroster vent works the opposite way that it should. it was something I missed when I did my 89 to 91 dash swap.

As for the A/C it just needs a recharge again.

The Pivot pin was loose, one side of the hinge it should be solid on and is not on my old hinge. Yeah it was easy to adjust, but even easier to swap the hinge.. Keep in mind I did the hood hinge swap by myself, no help ( passenger side hinge)
Did you decide on swaping the dash pad to the newer style?

Well, I decided to buy the Flap at least.. Not sure if I will swap the pad or not..
