More than 100km from Hue to Hoi An ancient town, it is not too long a distance, suitable for you to go by motorbike. A beautiful route when you go along the coast of Vietnam, watching the sea, rivers and mountains. So how to drive from Hue to Hoi An?
You are a foreign tourist so you cannot bring your car to Vietnam. So you need to rent a motorbike to be able to make this journey.
What do you need to rent a motorbike in Vietnam?
To be able to drive any vehicle you need a Vietnamese driving license or a driving license in your country but need an international driving license that is recognized by Vietnam. These documents prove that you can legally drive in Vietnam, with it you will be able to drive more smoothly.

3. The best route to go from Hue to Hoi An by motorbike.
From Hue, there are two different routes that you can go to Hai Van Pass or inland or coastal. If you do not have much time but still want to experience this, you can choose the route through Hai Van Pass. With this route, you only take about 3-4 hours with a few stops. If you have more time, you can cross the sea. There are few vehicles on this route so this will be an enjoyable experience for you. It will take about 6-7h for you to go and rest if you choose the second option.
