I saw on Ebay a rear window tint shell insert, that fit into place as a single unit. It went for about 100 bucks. I cant find who makes them or even who sells them. Any ideas???

Also, I am a die-hard DIY guy, but there a few things I leave to the pros... Now my list has another entry:

1) Wheel balance = leave to the pros
2) Alignment = leave to the pros,

and now number 3,

3) Window tinting = LEAVE TO THE F------ PROS!

I haven't seen anything like that but it sounds like a good idea. You could take it in and out as/if needed. What was it made of - polycarbonate? Did they say how thick it was?

It used to be marketed as a Gila Pop-In. Supposed to fit 78-82 big back window cars.

I think Mid-America still lists them in the catalogue.
