I been thinking about getting a hatch vent for my C4. I saw one of the guys had this at a car show I was at a few weeks ago. Mid America has 2 of them available. Does anyone have one or which they prefer?

The metal one that twists in works great for me. Easy in and out, no tools needed.

I have the metal twist-in one but don't use it due to reflections with my dark tinted rear hatch glass.

I use the metal twist in version - just make sure you adjust it
properly or you could damage the switch:cheers:

I've heard the twist one is easier than the other one but they both work great. Ordered the twist one at Bowling Green from Mid America

I talked to ZR_Don and -=Jeff=- this weekend, they both LOVE theirs and it greatly reduces turbulence in the cabin.

Which one is plastic?

I thought they were both metal.
Ecklers and Mid-America seem to offer the same units...

1) Bolt On Unit
2) Twist On/Off Unit

Get the metal one, but make sure you adjust the pin that acuates the switch for your interior lights or else you will be replacing the plastic cap on top of the switch!
