I popped the motor 4 days before vacation , and just started the tear down, the previous Mechs buggered up the right side header. the car is an 89 l98 vert with a new trans (auto). I am thinking of going with a Crane 50 state legal cam ... the biggest that is legal that is . The rest will be moderately stock. Does anyone make legal block hugger headers. i live in California sooo. they need to meet the law deal. I am in a tight money market due to early med retirement. The old headers leaked and made that sucking noise as heard on old beater pickups. Please advise.

Hooker makes a nice set of block hugger headers, you'd have to call them to see if they are legal in CA. Don't see why they would'nt be tho.
