So after stripping all the paint from the body of my 75, i started on the next thing, preparing the body for paint. i figured one of the first things to do would be to remove the headlight assemblies. I also did this because i needed to do some fiberglass repair on the pass. side front fender and it would be easier with the headlights out. Anyway, i replaced the dust boot and seal and repainted all the parts. heres the finished product:

Great job:thumbsup:
Rather than paint the springs I would suggest replacing them with stainless steel springs from Riks Corvette Parts, they won't rust and they only cost around $4 a pair.
That's what I did.

Awesome. Good to see another person as fussy as me. Great attention to details.

Very nice. I'm also one of the ones who spends far too much time detailing parts that no one will ever see. Welcome to the club!
