You seem more than capable to fix this problem from your previous troubleshooting....if it is the relays the next part is probably the easiest


The relays are on the front side of the drivers side wheelwell. You'll see a plastic cover. once removed there are the 3 relays (very common and cheap...$7) They just plug and unplug.

PS almost forgot....there is no module to which that mechanic referred (the module he's thinking of is ONLY on the 1988 and up motors) 84-87 is purely relay driven
