after replacing drivers side headlight door actuator and changing headlight elements to LED headlights cycled ok then replaced pass side light elements with LED and now headlights wont close on low beam, high beam closes ok. h/l switch on column feels tight with no slop and giggling causes no movement on headlight doors on low beam. pulled connectors off all new led lights with no change in opening/closing problem. checked connections on control module below pass light. i saw a mention on an old msg about having fog lights on will affect headlight door operation??? any suggestions out there on this problem? thanks

When you install any lower voltage light source in C5 housings you need a resistor to ‘fool’ the circuits into thinking there’s a regular bulb there. The voltage change is what disturbs the pop up system.
