Hi, all. I bought my 78 about a month ago. I get warm air out of the vents even with the control in the cold position, and I even get some warm air with the top a/c, heat vent control in the off position. What's the drill for running down this problem and fixing it? Thanks much! Scott

check the hot water shutoff valve, it's on the heater box. See if the vac line is connected an if it even has vac. on it when you set the controls to cold.
