Hi,

so today i installed my corsa exhaust on my 08 z06 .

I seemed to have encountered 2 problems which i believe are related.

The car was jacked up on the driver side higher than the passenger side...

After lowering the car it was/is extremely hard to go into reverse (you ahve to almost force it in)

my friend is a lexus tech was doing the install with me -

he said he beleives the transmission fluid just went to one side
and when it settles it will go away

2nd problem is my check engine light is on. I am unsure why as we installed the exhaust properly. so i am thinking it is related to the transmission thing ...

Did you unplug and not plug back in or maybe damage the evap canister? Lift the rear of the car, and look up in front of the passenger side axle. This could be your CEL issue.

thanks for your responses guys !

We actually solved the problem around 1am the night of the install ... pretty much to cliff note it up for anyone who reads this (since it will come up in searches)

when taking the stock pipes off be very careful because there is a blueish/purplish plug on the passenger side it is the reverse solenoid plug . the axle back pipe cut into the wiring slightly causeing the fuse to blow...

the fuse is under the hood fuse box (not sure what it is labeled)

simple solution was we taped up the wires and replaced the fuse and good to go !!!
