Hey guys...this is my 1st post here so please help me out....Im 16 an im lookin for a Corvette as my 1st car. Ive done been over it with my parents an they have agreed 2 get it 4 me. Sooooo...this is where i need your help....I am lookin for a Black on Black 1980 Corvette with a L-82 an Auto.....i live in Hamilton , Alabama an would like 2 find somthin in a resonable distance....but id like 2 hear about any u know of..so please help me if u can.....an thanx in advance for any help u have.

If I were you I would look in the local Auto Trader and contact all the Corvette Clubs around you.

You could also check Ebay, if you find one you like, ask around the forums for someone to look at it.

Shipping a car via a outside or enclosed truck is not that bad in price, 500-900 depending on miles...just a thought.

Remember Black interior get really hot in the summer especially if it is leather

I also would recommend considering a lighter color for the interior. I have a black '79 with a white interior and at our latitude every little bit helps.

I bought my 81 through a friend of a friend, but looking back I wish I had looked on e-bay. I have had mine for 4 years, and I still like it as much as the day I bought it. Good luck
