help me! I cant find these anywhere [door sills]

I was out looking at some 07 vettes the other day and noticed that some of the door sills were silver and black not the black rubber piece. they looked great but nobody at the dealer could tell me why some cars had them and some did not. i know GM has some brushed aluminun and black but that is not what these look like. below is a pic of a red vert with the ones i am looking for and there is a pic of what GM acc catalog has. can anyone help? they are not billet either.

They are listed as a new feature for 2008 but actually were phased in in mid 2007, I think around March. Eventually the parts books will show "first design" and "second design" for 2007. If they're not yet in the book, write down the VIN of a car that has them and take it to any GM parts department. They will have to call GM parts assistance; with the VIN they can find every part on that car.

thats what i kinda thought about doing. i think they look great! i was going to buy the 07 but decided to wait for 430 hp 08 vette

Got my vette march 3rd and it came with the silver ones dont know why, but they sure look alot better than those black ones.

i think they are added on dealer options. if you get a 2007 corvette borchure those are optional. check out your local dealer for more information is my best bet.

I have the GM accessory chrome ones hanging up in my garage, waiting for the stock ones to get messed up.

I prefer these ones better, they are not over the top with the metal look.
