I'm looking at replacing my wiper motor with one I got from vette2vette.
I took off the leaf guard and the wiper arm is in the correct position for wipers at rest. The instructions say to cycle the wipers so that the wiper arm is pointing down so you can remove the wiper arm nut. So far so good. So the motor I'm going to put in has the arm at the position where the motor would be at in the resting position. Prior to bolting it in should I plug it in and cycle the motor so that the arm on the replacement motor is in the down position. Remove the arm on the replacement motor, install it and then attach the arm - in the down position - that I took off the old motor?
Thanks, Mark
