I have done a few searches of the forum but haven't found any really any decent info on the wiring mods to get an LS1 into a C3.
I live in Australia so my engine and transmission came from a 2004 VY Commodore. I assume the PCM should be identical to the ones on the American engines.
My main questions are in relation to the BCM that talks to the PCM over serial. Is this required to turn the engine on and off? Or do I just need to get my PCM retuned to allow it to operate without all the original vehicles other modules?
If anyone has a link to a page with wiring mod info that would be a great help!
