1983 wheels

i think they look great,do you have any idea who made them.:buhbye:

Those wheels actually appeared in the early 1984 brochure (pgs 50 and 51). They were described as :

"Standard wheel and tire combination features P215/65R-15 steel-belted Eagle GT radials, mounted on all-new 15-inch aluminum alloy wheels. Wheel width is 7 inches in front and 7 and one-half inches in the rear."

The optional 16-inch Gatorbacks and sawblade wheels were so popular with dealers that they were made standard and the 15s were never produced.

Trivia - only one scale model was ever produced with the 15s - a 1/43rd scale Solido model which I believe is still available:

I don't. When the sawblades first hit the street on the C4, I loved 'em. The sawblades progressed nicely over the years.
