That's just too cool:partyon:

Panic- build a camera mount so you can drive with BOTH hands and get some in car video. I remember a video you did a while back- you were driving, shifting, AND holding the camera. Be safe. Duct tape the camera to the dash- something.

??? I didn't see any link or anything in "corvette videos" ???
Que pasar?
If your like me your not getting this photo that everyone else seems to be seeing.

Click the "quote" below his post and the link will show that way. At least it did for me.

I still had to do a little Search & Discover to finally locate it.

Your right in that there is nothing in his Video's or Photo's.

See if THIS will work for you.

that car sounds goood.

get some from in the cockpit next time. I wanna see how you handle the corners.

and get someone to take picts of you in the corners if you can. wanna see how much your car leans.

turtle, the car is a dream on smooth tarmac and even in sharp bends, the first fast turn going right you can see in the vid was taken at speed but i had to easy the throttle a bit to keep the rear hooked, it leans very little, it's very hard and steering response is sharp and direct, hoosiers worked great and i'm sure in the first part of the hill i could nearly be unbeatable, you drive it like an euro racer, steering with both wheel and throttle, dosing gas with care though because 570hp with 4.11 gears and a lightweight body make no prisioners at speed in a winding road. it was great fun and big adrenaline...actually the organizers got very crazy at me when i drove downhill, i was only supposed to 'open' the track, not to run it at speed but there was such expectation from the crowd to see this 'alien' (for this kind of races here) racer at 'work' that i couldnt stop myself from giving to people what they expected to see...i had plenty of 'bravos' (for the car i guess) and clapping all the way down...

Thanks for the help, I think my 'puter was blocking the original picture/link as a pop-up.

is this like the euro rallys where the crowds line the road and become a nice soft wall for you to hit? That's what i call a high tech barrier.

That's so friggin cool. I'd be nervous with all them people watching me.

yes turtle...the crowd stays at the very side of the road, specially around dangerous bends and quick streights (where the organizers stick warnings to stay away...), frankly speaking it's the crowd that pushes you to give the best, they claim a show and you must give it to them...if they like your performance they cheer, scream and clap thumbs up...

most people, before you show up, are skeptical about vettes and generally about american cars beeing able to go around bends reasonable quick, specially other racers...but all shut up when they see the vette going like hell and sounding like a thunder:thud:
