If they don't time out, you'll need to either pull the fuses, or disconnect the battery.

Each time at the shop when we have to work on the DC Z with the doors open, the battery gets disconnected.

THANKS Patrick, I am feeiing stupid, because I thought I was missing something. I just hook the battery charger up on trickle seting. I have run down the battery a few times already. I was hoping there was a switch or setting to turn off all the lights. Then fuse idea sounds like something that will work,I'll try that. By the way have fun with the new Vette.

NO PATRICK I'm referring to the times that I am doing something inside the car, such as fooling around with the NAV or programing something. I would like to leave the door open for an hour are more. I know very small problem but I thing the lights are a drain on battery that is not necessary. Yes the lites go out when I close the door. THANK YOU for your interest in my small problem.

Here is what it says in the owner's manual...

Entry/Exit Lighting

With entry lighting, the interior lamps will come on when
entering the vehicle. The interior lamps will come on
for about 20 seconds when the engine is off.
You can turn exit and entry lighting off by quickly turning
the courtesy lamps on and off.

common problem......happens when either you bump or are turning up your dash lights at night. NOTICE THE LITTLE BUTTON to the right of the far left VENT on the dash,,,,,,when turning the dash lights up, people push this while turning and then turn all the interior lights on.....

KEY is make sure door is closed, then you can tell what lights are on....if it is the ones I just mentioned, the floor lights will be on....

IF NOT, then the lights under your mirror were left on....simply push those in (upward) to turn off.

AGAIN, if the door is open, you'll never be able to tell, because the lights are on when door opens to assist you.

HOPE THIS HELPS.......who reads owners manuals anyway...WE'RE GUYS!

Not that the manual is boring, but I try to read it each night when I go to bed. Not making much progress - eight months in to C6 ownership and I've almost finished the first page. :D Saving a lot on sleeping pills.
