I HAVE 105,000 MILES ON MY VETTE AND JUST FOR NORMAL WEAR IT HAS NEVER LEFT ME BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD.THE MOTOR WAS REBUILT AT 60,000/AND TRANS TO.REAR END GEAR REPLACED ,NOT DUE TO FAILURE.
89 Coupe, 158K. Engine is original except I changed the timing belt & gears at around 100K as a preventative measure.
As far as I know, the valve covers have never been off.
The 700R4 however is a different story. It has puked its guts up twice.
Still not bad considering the car definitely does NOT get babied
My car has about 65,000 miles on it, but the new motor only has about 10k. I haven't figured out how to hook up the odometer on this new combination so now I'm only guessing.
