How reliable is your modified Corvettes?

Just wondering for those with heavily modified corvettes, superchargers, Heads and cams, gears, engine swap etc. How often do you need to replace broken parts, do a major tune-up etc. Normally what is the milege after you install the aftermarket parts you see the car begin to break down? This is for daily driving use.

The more you do to them the more unreliable they become, more chance for something else to break or that something leading to break something else. Just be sure the work is done right and you will reduce the unreliable'ness.
Bump.
I have a total motor build and more than 20K miles. Hell, it runs better now than it did stock. Course you have to improve rear and clutch as well.
How much more of a difference is it when you insytall these gadgets i mean speed wise?
I've been running heavily modded for over 2 years (see sig), and my car has never been in the shop, other than for warranty on the driver lock not autolocking. I've only had the oil changed.

The key is having the work done right. I've learned the hard way, cheaper doesn't always cost you less.

My friend you don't refer to them as accessories/gadgets for Corvette modification. Since most carry at least a four digit price tag we don't consider them gadgets or accessories.

No problem..:buhbye: ..what you really want to know, judging from your first post is...what performance aftermarket parts give you in the way of speed or power. You can start as small as a good cold air intake system that will net you somewhere in the area of ten to fifteen rear wheel horsepower. That is gonna cost you at least four hundred bucks. After that you are looking at nothing short of 2 grand just for headers...then it's intake, heads, cam, blower, turbo, build engine, rear differential, clutch, torque converter, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.;)
They all make you go fast but most folks can't get enough of going fast and don't know where or when to stop.....including yours truly:D
That is exactly what i mean i am a newbie and dont really know the lingo or way to ask what i need to say about vettes but slowly getting better thanks for letting me know

Hey we were all newbe's at one time. Just read as much as you can and first before you do any modifications...find a good tuner. There are several in your area of NY. They will keep you from spending cash needlessly on junk and help you plan your modifications. Enjoy and welcome to the addiction! :D
I just finished building a Twin Turbo LS2 402 stroker C5Z06. I have only driven it a couple hundred miles. I'd say it is very reliable but only time will tell. It's all in how the mods were installed and how badly you beat on a car.
Man those are some killers vettes you have there
