what youll find is that most corvettes are SEVERLY UNDER GEARED for best performance to promote max mileage and minimal emmissions

heres the trans info
Corvette 1968-1977 TH400
Corvette 1976-1981 TH350/TH350C
Corvette 1982-1993 TH700-R4/4L60
Corvette 1994 - Up 4L60-E

REMEMBER When you use these calculators your answer will be more accurate if you account for converter slip by manipulating the gear ratio. or figuring in an additional 5%-10% more rpms due to converter slip before the converter locks up if you have a lock-up style converter trans.
