I kind of miss the newly submitted photos across the top.

The photos were taken off the main page because it was causing too many queries on the server.

Im suprised that Patrick went live with this version. We were still testing the beta only a few days ago.

I guess hes just crazy like that.

Yep, pulled the pics off the front page because it was brutal on dial-up users... also it would query for the pics each time you loaded the main page, like Big Law Man said.

I tested it for about a month prior to hooking up BLM with the new interface.

BLM noticed some strange things with the PM pop-up window, but I'll fix that this weekend.

By removing the gallery pics off the front page, the front page now loads only 20k of data, versus 100k with the pics.
