It's been a while since I got a good street race under my belt.

Dan has a 383 stroker motor in his '85 Corvette vs. my bone stock LS1 C5 convertible.

Sure, I edged him out, but wow did that car leap from a dig! Impressive!

He's got some more tuning to do, might go the other way next time.:thumbsup:

if I remember right** once about a time I was close with running the D C Z ???? my left finder by his back right fender just could not pass him>> and since on a wisconsin hwy we backed it down > I would have ask the boys who saw it?

That's funny, I have a different memory of our race. When I let off, I had you by 20 car lengths and I was only doing like 120 mph. The only time you were next to my back right fender was when my foot was on the brake pedal before we started. :laughing:

You and me Dan, you just can't beat the low end torque of a 383.

Oh thats right GM finaly figured that out Duh! 6.2 liters super charged 597 ft lb torque at 4k...

Let me show you how to put a charger under that hood Dan...

:D We need to hit the track in your beast!

I got some C5Z wheels we'll be putting on in awhile, which will help traction but could grenade the Dana 36 (especially with already noticing a grip difference on these hot Arizona roads). When I get around to rebuilding the rear suspension, we'll spend some time on the rear diff too. For now, more miles of smiles!

Psst, Spideypat and I are gonna pick up a bead blaster soon for the next project. :D
