I just bought a 1975 and want to insure it with classic car insurance. I am wondering what companies are worth their coverage for the money?? I am looking for a policy with 5000 miles a year and the standard coverages, but they are asking some information I haven't heard before. What should I be looking for, what's a "good" price, and what coverages should I consider purchasing? What can you recommend to look for or look out for? I get the car on Saturday and want to try to get the inusrance before then.

I can't help on price but something to consider. Has the vette been modified/restored/rare or anything else that would make it worth more? If so look into 'agreed' value

Look into Grundy (gundy.com). They seem to be pretty good for collector and classic cars.

I hate to follow his post with another question but here goes its about insurance have you guys heard about any insurance company that will let you insure your vette for 6 months and when the weather you can reinsure again for only 6 months since mostly people in NY only use thir vettes during summer months
