I had my 'multi-task switch' (turn signal lever) replaced in 2005 because the driver's side headlight made a grinding noise. They replaced the gears and the actuator.
The last three times I have driven my car, the turn signals do not always come on. Sometimes, they are on at an intersection and then they just stop flashing even thought the lever has not moved. I checked the fuse last night and all of the bulbs are working properly. Is it a short in the switch? Tell me what you guys think or if you have experienced similar problems.
(This is the only problem I have ever had with this car!)

I'm not sure but I think there was a post a while back on this and it had some thing to do with the emg. flasher switch. might try searching on that.

Thanks. I looked it up and RKT ROY and others had the same thing. It sounds as though I need a new flasher unit. I will turn on and off the hazard switch in the mean time. You guys are awesome!:partyon:
