internet shift knobs

I'm looking at getting a new shift knob for my automatic 87. There are the two boring aftermarket, (woodgrain and carbon fibre) looks, that are available strictly for corvettes. But does anyone know if many of the other universal options will fit on there? Obviously you have to get one with a button on top, made for an automatic. I'm looking at the momo ones at the moment, which are pretty rad, however if it doesn't fit I suppose there's no point in ordering it.

Has anyone thrown a universal knob on their auto c4?

thanks

Can't answer your question, but very cool to see someone else from Van on this board.
I have a C5 automatic, and I have an aftermarket shifter. Private message me and I'll let you know where I got the conversion kit. They aren't a DC sponsor, and I don't want to get Patrick mad at me.

that's awesome bro,

it turns out that these are the exact shift knobs that I was interested in, but didn't want to place the order, just in case they wouldn't fit or whatever.

So it was just straight forward? No mods? Do they use the same setup with the clip?

I guess I'll be ordering one

thanks dude
Uses small allan key screws at the base once you set the proper height then the rest of the knob just screws in.

Pretty straight forward.
Just a bit of an update I recently took out the knock off MOMO shifter out which fit like a glove and bought the original MOMO Automatica with leather and it took a bit of work to get it on.

I assumed it would fit like the knock off but of course it did not so what should have been a 3 minute job took about an hour as I had to file the shifter shaft and the inside of the shifter knob to get it to fit.

Once I finished the filing she fit like a glove and looks superb!!! Well worth the money.
Post a picture of it on here so we can see what it looks like !!

Thanks !!

The G-Man !
