I was on ferrari chat before and asked what could be the expected costs of owning an f car?Got some jack ass giving me {if you have to ask you can't afford it?} How does this ass know what I can afford ? BTW he dosen't even own one !
thank fully there were some decient fellas who wrote there best advice and it was help full .Just got back from nj neices grad HS and was thrown the keys to 07 vert w/paddles exhaust,freash air and chip after my return to the party 5 min later some off duty cop rolls up wanting to know who was driving , pissed of he was , complaing of speed in car never went over 45mph ,any way nice car ,don't like paddles slow no down shiftting

Ferrari's are crazy expensive to maintain. Not only do you have to get permission from Ferrari to buy a new one, it's a minimum 16k per year just in regular maint that you have to do! My boss has a F430 and it is sick, but he bitches about the maint. bill everytime it goes in. He drives is Lambo much more than the Ferrari, and that bad boy is SICK!

Don't know too much about the new F-- but some of the 90's cars have a belt change intervals of 15,000 miles. Not bad but you have to remove the motor and trans to get to them, cost 4 to 5 thou.

They have an interesting forum, but huge egos unlike us Corvette peasants.. I love the 599 and it would be my dream car if some one wants to buy one for me...I would be very grateful...:cheers: but the funny thing is I don't get the impression they are any more passionate about their cars than we are about ours. If someone has more money than me and nicer things, that means he has more money than me and buys nicer things. That's all it means and I don't lose any sleep over it. Like it says in my profile there "I've gone faster than you." :thumbsup:
