They used Poncho Power technology Junk as I stated.

Copied the 1955 287ci Pontiac V8 Cylinder block deck design,
carried onto to the 455 Ponch.

We are Looking at one of the greatest engines ever built Junk.
Its a 1974 SD-455 Auto trans Turbo 400 Y8 engine code.
Ran on 91 octane pump gas.
In a Trans Am it was faster than the Legendary 1970 -71 Hemi Cudas in 1/4 mile.
Every single owner has reported burying the 160 mph speedometer with ease.
No overdrive trans. Just 3.08 -3.42 rear diff gears.

Nightmare dream.
Hellcat must have Frightened him.

Leave for Chi town in a few hours to work on Corvette Racecars.

Nothing like being called A Fony Mechanic.
Last time that happened was on CF.

that thing in your had

The last time my FRC looked like that I was installing a digital tach with shift light and an AFR gauge in an A-pillar...but I see you're radio is out, and I've never seen that thing in your hand in the second pic....I'll have to lurk until someone makes a better guess.
Ooh! Ooh! I know! I know! it's a new model actuator. Just like mine.

for anybody stumbling onto this thread, this is my latest misadventure with my track toy, and thanks to Junkman. I'm making progress.
BTW, it is easy to remove, if your cockpit looks like the pic above, which is what mine looks like. when you get up in there and can't get a wrench on the mounting bolts, 5.5 mm, remove the hose looking thing covered with sticky insulating gunk, then you can put a quarterinch drive directly on it.
Still problem solving widdit.

Well I didn't tear up anything. I was painting the front fascia and doing some detailing with the fender.

By the way, you may want to take a look at this thread.

Sorry, I just used the paperclip attachment mode in reply window. It enlarges with a finger click on it.

Truth thogh, I have always wondered how to make it pop in full size. Now I know!
Cheers.
