I don't know anymore than he left a post on my cardomain site and I went to his to see about his car. Those photos were there and I thought the girls and the car would go well here and it might get him interested enough to come over to Digital. This definitely deserves more of a story. That kid looks way younger than me, and has a bad-ass car that commands huge coin, especially on a total resto (parts alone...) Details would be killer.
All the research I've done indicates that the Z06 option was ONLY available in 1963. However, like my post above indicates, a smart buyer could create a car that was very similar to the 63 Z06.By the way, it's not a Z06??
What a fantastic build! Beautiful C2.Hey guys, I'm the one who has the car, it's actually mine and my dad's car. It's a father son bond and project. We own the car together. Just ask away on what you wanna know!
Looks like I screwd up again! From the header on your site and your name, "nuthnlikeaZ06" I ASSUMED that you had made it into one. We all know what the letters 'ASS U ME' mean, and I guess I did. :smack Sorry. GlennNo No I'm saying that it isn't. I don't know where the guy got that from but my CD doesn't say it and I never said that, and thanks for all you praise.
You should have bought a lotto ticket while you were on such a good dayWell the build took about 2 and half years and we didn't really run into anything too major, after the engine was in it turned on the first crank.
Damn!! NOW you make that suggestion. Why didn't I think of that two days ago when all that good luck was happening to me reference those photo shoots?:thud: GlennWhat a great build to spend some time with your Dad. Makes the project more than just a 'car thing'.
