Lack of color choice rant (I'll be brief)

Corvette is chevrolet's halo car. It is available in 7 color choices. Were I to buy a 911, I would have 17 choices. BMW M, 14 choices. I guess I shouldn't whine, if I wanted an XLR, I would only have 4 choices (XLR-V only has 3 colors to choose from. No wonder those freakin' cars aren't selling).

I have toyed with getting an '08 (I have a 2005 machine silver convertible now), but there are NO other silver family colors offered in 2008, other than Machine silver. Where is Light Pewter Metallic, Spiral Grey Metallic, etc..? Oh well, guess I'll wait for the C7 since chevrolet can't figure out how to offer an cool ARRAY of colors, like Porsche, BMW, etc (of course, they did kill one of the greatest colors of all time, LeMans Blue, to give us Jetstream, which is a color that looked great on a C2, but not on a C6).

See, that was pretty brief.

I agree there should be a few more color choices. I think British Racing Green would make a great C6 color. The fact they killed off LMB is crazy imo.

I personally think the new Jetstream Blue is a hideous color on the C6 after seeing an actual pic of the car and not just a fender.

Chevy has mostly only offered 8-10 color choices, you could always buy a white C6 and have it painted whatever color you want. $10K will get you a quality paint job, add that to the cost of a new coupe and it would still cost less than a 911 or a BMW M.
Well I feel your pain also. I have always liked red Vettes. I had two Torch Red ones, and now I would have liked to get a Monterey Red. But as my luck would have it, they discontinued that color 10 days before I placed my new order. I really had my heart set on that red. But I already sold my Torch Red, so... the next best for me was the triple black.
It's a bitch to settle for second choice when spending that kind of money! Why a manufacturer would discontinue in mid season just blows my mind!:WTF :bang
Spend about 3k with Porsche and they will paint the car ANY color you want, any I do mean ANY color. :partyon:
Available colors for sports cars:

Red
Black

end of list...
Here's my list of the only color a car should be:

Black
Red
Yellow (like the Millenium Yellow)
Dark Silver
Dark Blue
White
Orange (Like Atomic Orange, not bright orange)

I'm not a fan of all those purples, neon's, light blues, and green colors

Yes, thats sounds like an excess of machismo, sorry
