That chair has had a long and hard life. I threw it away 2 times and it found it's way to my house again. I just let it be and it holds me up. But I can't tell you all how hard this yellow paint was to match!!! I thank all on this forum for your help or it would still be black and on the bench.

Sinister C-6: I just could not bring myself to drill holes in my new car (OK for you that did, just not for me). So I opt for the double back tape. Most of the chrome stuff on my Goldwing has been attached using this tape and has stayed fast for the last 3 yrs (much rain riding). But the color match of the yellow color was NOT easy. I painted the black piece no less then 4 times at about $200.00 per time. It was not until someone posted exact interstuction as to how to color match the yellow paint (much, much thinks to you whoever you were) that I was able to get it close enough to put on.

3M makes a thin, gray double back sponge tape that seems to hold as long as you want. I've used it on the car and on outside Halloween decorations that go out year after year and survive rain, cold and wind with no problems.
