My wife went on vacation and being true to form, I decided to repaint it :D
So I completely dissasembled the Body. I'm still putting it back together and the bad part is... the wife took the camera with her on vacation :thud:

BTW: It should be known that I've never before painted a Car :rolling:

well i have never painted a car before either, so the only advice i can give you is use an air sprayer, the brush will leave lines in the paint :rolling:

and dont sniff to many fumes you might get some funky pin stripes

Now we get to see, FIRST HAND, a case of "while I'm here I might as well..."

It'll be interesting to see how far he's gonna' go. Like front end bushings, clean out the heater box, rebuild the steering box and stuff like that.

Kevin, if you need anything, call.

I know.. I've been looking at World Product 632 BB. Can't decide if it's a short deck block, and I'm not gonna fool with trying to shoehorn a tall block in there. No room as it is.

I must still be a little bit "old school" to try the NOS thing. I'd rather do it with plain old fashioned compression/cam/intake/carb. At least in the Vette. My daughter FREAKS everytime I get it out of the garage. She's more comfy when I'm riding the Harley. Something about the Vette. Maybe I need to put better seat belts in it. Got any ideas on how to install a 5 point harness without a roll cage?

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I bought mine in Feb. 2007, drove a couple of months and now it's in pieces all over So. Cal. I visited the paint shop today just to say hi, and all I have in my garage is the door panels. Problem is, now I want new ones... When does it stop?

Some guy makes a deal called a shark bar for that. Do a search, or some one might know/answer.

im getting tired of scrubbing on that grease on the bell housing and tranny :thud: i wonder if a flame thrower would help,
since you have to take out the shifter console to get the shifter out figured i mught as well replace it, its kinda scratched up and a couple of the mounting ears are broke, and might as well replace the shifter boot too.
