The SLP Loudmouths are pretty much the loudest catback you can buy. If you don't want it that loud then most people own Corsa or Borla... I personally am partial to the GHL pipes myself... Best thing to do is catch a local Corvette show & go listen for yourself on cars there. That's the best. Videos are a poor example of what exhausts REALLY sound like...

Just look through the pipes, the lack of baffles give it away. I had headers, Loudmouth catback, 3" all the way on my old T/A. Let's just say I didn't use the radio much at all.

SLP also carries a few different LMs that are slightly quieter.

Have you considered the B&B Bullets?

I know of at least 3 people who had the loud mouths and have since switched to Bullets.

SLP wasn't kidding when they name it the "LOUD" Mouth.

And mind you this is coming from a guy (me) who has LG headers and Bullets.

Just my .02

Slp Loudmouth

Bought the SLP's about a year ago. Very Loud.. But trust me i think it is the Best sounding system at WOT.. I have Lg Longtube Headers, Lsa Cam, and a Corsa X Pipe. My car is one of the loudest cars at Autoshows and brings alot of attention just because of the sound.. You should check out my Video on Streetfire.Net.. just type in C5 Z06 (Title says H/C/I,Slp's..)

I had the loudmouth exhaust and thought it was the loudest, most irritating and most unpleasant sound you could get. It was fun for a few weeks until I damn near lost my hearing.

I now run BB Bullets, with LG headers. Nothing sounds better, or more terrifying. The BB bullets alone smoke the SLP's hands down.

I hated the SLP's so badly I threw the whole setup in the dumpster. I didn't have the heart to sell it to anyone.

Haha.. thats funny.. I did do alot of searches before i bought the exhaust.. even looked at the Video you posted when you got them for "Free"..Haha.. Not sure why but in that Video your car is louder than what mine is and i have Lg Headers, No cats, but i do have a Corsa X pipe.. I like the sound of mine and lots of Vette owners love it at shows.. Slp is known for low quality and that is very true but other than that i like em..

I added an x-pipe too and it smoothed out the exhaust sound, but the exhaust sound still sounded horrible and it had to come off. I went back to the stock TI exhaust to get my hearing back. With the SLP all the bad frequencies were loud, and all the good frequencies weren't.
